Perfection is overrated.
Even if you are overly detailed with your plans, the execution doesn’t always lie on your hands and you need to accept that. Not sweating the insignificant things will be your way of keeping your sanity as a bride planning out her wedding day so do your best to aim for perfection by all means but don’t blow your lid over it in case some things don’t happen to pan out exactly as you have planned them to when it all comes down to it.
Remind yourself of what’s important.
At the end of the day, you are planning out a wedding. For as long as you get to follow through on it and for as long as it pans out successfully from a more macro type of perspective, then it’s a win for you and for your husband to be. The rest of the other little stuff are really pretty much just icing on top of the cake and not enough for you to sweat it. Know what your priorities are so that you can work on them first until you trickle the tasks down to the finishing touches. When you constantly have the bigger picture in mind, it will be next to impossible for you to get lost in all of the surrounding details.
Planning out a wedding is already filled with details that can potentially turn out to be overwhelming at best. You don’t have to add on to the issue by overcomplicating things while you are at it. Do your best to go ahead and keep things simple as much as possible and things will work out for you better in all of the best ways. Take it a step at a time instead of going for all things at once. Have a list of things that you need to do and follow through with it one task at a time. Even if it might seem like it can be a little too much at times, you don’t have to let it get to you at the end of the day.
You can still keep doing what you are planning to do and stay the course and do everything right at the end of the day. Your wedding needs to be perfect and all that but hand in hand with that ideology; you also need to take note of the fact that nothing is really perfect. Plan things out in detailed perfection as much as possible if you can help it. If some things fall through along the cracks somewhere along the way, then it happens if it happens. Keep things simple and you will have less things to worry about when you are planning your main wedding day.
